Football and Margret Gatis

Not a good combo! Especially when your teams are losing. I love sports and watch a lot while stitching, but I tend to use the TV like a radio.  Unfortunately, this weekend I spent a lot of time yelling at the TV and not making much progress on MG. But here it is.
Nicola asked for some close up shots. This is the band I'm currently working on. Mostly satin stitch over three.  The directions say to outline each area and fill in the satin stitch, but I thought it looked awful so I'm just painstakingly counting each motif. Not a log of frogging, but I will really be glad to move on.

Here are some of the early bands.

I have to order this straight away. EXQUISITE.

Thank you for sharing.

On Dona Dorothea I did not outline the satin stitches in the one section, I unpicked what I first did as the outlining looked wrong.

This is an absolutely gorgeous sampler, and one of the first charts I ever bought from SL Unfortunately I've never gotten brave enough to start it, and now the chart is in storage. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures and your progress.
