Miss Mary Ann Hutton - Finished

I finished up Miss Mary over the weekend, but for some reason was unable to get onto Blogger yesterday to leave a Post anywhere - here is a snap...

"Mary Ann Hutton - Christmas Sampler"
36ct Days Gone By
Stitched using my conversion to Belle Soie

As you can see I left off her name and date - I figured since I deviated so far from the original - in material and colour, why not put my initials and date front and centre.  It was a fun stitch, now what SL to start up next????

This is really pretty. It's always wonderful when you complete a project, but then you have to go through your stash, and decide "what's next?" So many projects, so little time! I always try to work my initials and the year into my projects, so that when I look at it, I know when I completed it.

Beautiful! This one is on my to-do list as my daughter's married name is Hutton. She's not into antique-y looks, so I would keep it for myself. And after all that work, why not?!

Enjoy your lovely sampler.
