A Rose

Life has been rudely interrupting my stitching lately.  My car had to go to the shop, our washing machine died, and our internet connection has been cranky and undependable for several days.  Grrr!  I've  spent far too much time in waiting rooms, appliance stores, and on hold with a DSL technician located in the Philippines.

So, my main progress has been to finish a rose.  And to put in the framework for the next motif over:

Random Motif Sampler

The colors are cheery, and I like them very much.

Now that the internet seems to be back, I have some catching up to do with reading the blog - there are some interesting discussions starting up!

It's beautiful! Here's hoping that life quits getting in the way of stitching. For all of us!

It is funny how we get a run of things breaking down. You have had your run now.

Your sampler is beautiful as is your stitching.
