Finished Framed Country Life

I started stitching this sampler last March, when visiting mom in Ohio.  I finished it in February and brought it back to Ohio, to have Bonnie Safran of, Valley Framing, block and frame.  Bonnie called this past week, with my sampler framed and ready to pick up.

Good job!!!! I'm still working on CL, but I put it aside till I get the millemnium frame. Did you use a frame or hoop? I found it was too much fabric to handle.

You must be so pleased Bethany. CL is absolutely beautiful!I considered this pattern but the millennium frame bars only go up to 36".It seems like as lot of material to hold and hoop. After seeing yours framed I just might have to break down and order it.

For those who have asked, I use the Rolaframe stand and bars, I do not hold in my hands. I worked this sampler on 14inch bars, so I didn't work it across the length, I worked it up and down. The sampler measured finished and framed 41X12. After working with my stand and bars, I would find it hard to work on the Millennium stand and bars. I guess it is all in what we get used to. Many of the ladies that know how I stitch, can't think of stitching any way but in hand.

Sorry for the post early, I am at mom's working on her computer and we both forget when one of us is signed in. So, the JoAnn post is really from Bethany. Thanks.....

I love all things country but seeing your finish convinced me that I have got to do this one. I really love the way you did the sheep in yours too.
