Finally I Am Finished

Hi All,

I am so excited to say I finished Emma Miles on Friday 4-5-13.  I started her on 12-15-13 so she took almost four months to complete.  I love how she turned out.

Emma Miles
40ct Vintage Lentil
called for AVAS Silk

and a few detail pictures

I love the little butterfiles in the corner

I am not sure what my next Scarlet Letter sampler will be.  I had several picked out but all the wonderful posts may have changed my mind.  There are so many more that I want to stitch than when this blog started.  I think this time I will work on two at the same time to keep my excitement up since I struggled with Emma in the end.

I hope to be back soon with the next project.  I am looking forward to more temptation from all of you.

Happy Stitching.
DawnM

Emma is just lovely!
I know what you mean about a struggle to the end. Some of them are like that! Then a little time goes by and you are so happy with it that you wonder what the problem was!

She is just gorgeous!! I'm so glad you finished even tho it was a problem in the end. I hope, maybe to have a finish by the end of the month. That will make 4 months for me too!

Congratulations on a superb finish. This is one I would love to stitch....along with many others. But this may be my favourite with the birds and butterflies.

Congratulations Dawn, she really is beautiful. I am sure you are glad that you persisted with her. I also finished this sampler this year and I love her. What with the holly band, the birds, butterflies and birds and yes, even Adam and Eve, she is a favourite. Looking forward to seeing what you chose next. Well done!

What a gorgeous finish Dawn - congratulations! You must be so happy. Isn't it funny how some samplers just drag at the end? What is your next choice for this SL Year?
