The Huntsman is Finished!!!!!

The Huntsman is finished!!! This has been one of the most enjoyable projects I have ever done.  The instructions are so nice and easy to follow and the silk which is soie d'alger is both beautiful and a pure joy to stitch with :). I used 36 count linen from The Scarlett Letter.  The entire picture is over one using the tent stitch!  I have Hannah Carter with silk waiting for me but I am on a list for the Millimeum Frame and I have nothing large enough to start this on so I need to either wait for the frame to arrive or get 40 count linen to work over one!! Decisions decisions........

Oh this is just stunning, you must be so pleased with the finish.

I find making decisions so hard when it comes to stitching projects yet I am a decisive person in other areas of my life.

Sabrina, your Huntsman is stunning. I too love tent stitch over one, particularly on 36 count. I originally started Parrot, Leopard, Lion on 40 count in tent stitch but felt the stitches were a bit cramped so changed to 36 count and I'm very happy with it. If I was going to go to 40 ct for a full tent stitch project, I think I would use silk gauze. But that is my opinion only. I also have the Hannah Carter chart so will watch your progress with great interest. Congrats again.

Such a beautiful finish. The colors are just wonderful. And I can't believe that it's in tent stitch either. I'm definitely going to have to add this and Hannah Carter closer to the Have to Stitch pile!!
