A little more Random

We had a successful work weekend over Memorial Day - and a gorgeous weekend.  May is a wonderful time to be in Michigan's Upper Peninsula: long days, cool nights, and no bugs.  It's very hard to leave when it's time to go back.

There wasn't a lot of time for stitching, but I brought the Random Motif sampler along anyway (it travels better than Rachel - fewer threads), and managed to put in a good hunk of another motif.  This one, on the upper left, is straightforward cross-stitch and is going a lot faster.

Hope everyone is having a lovely spring - and good stitching!

Your achieved a lot when travelling. I always take my stitching but invariably never get any done when I am away from home.

Your photo of the river's mouth into Lake Superior looks like a painting, beautiful place.

Both photos show beautiful scenes and funnily enough the same tones of colour.

Kate, such a beautiful and peaceful photo. The motif sampler is looking wonderful and a good choice for travel to accomplish one motif at a time. Have a wonderful trip.
