Progress on Ruthy

Looking at what I have done does not seem like alot, but as you know it is .... I am very pleased so far and find stitching Ruthy alot of fun. I am following the instructions for the most part and am trying very hard not to skip over to the picture, just a bird or a apple? It is like being in the garden of eden and not taking a bite of the forbidden fruit!
I keep telling myself soon enough, soon enough. In the mean time it is onto stitching more leaves.

Ruthy is looking good. I'm always amazed how slowly the stitching goes.

If I counted up my hours on my sampler, I'm guessing it would be way more than anyone would figure.

Look on the bright side, you will have all the tedious stitching finished and then the fun will begin. Also, you'll have the border finished, better to stay on count with... You can be Eve in the Garden, Enjoy......

Ruthy is looking really nice ! I admire your will power to stick with the chart. Apparently I have very little because I skipped ahead and dabbled in the stem stich.LOL

Well done Bob for sticking with Marsha's instructions. The lure of the stem stitch was like the apple in the Garden of Eden - LOL !!!

Beautiful progress on Ruthy!!! Your border is way ahead of mine and I have gone into that forbidden garden but my border is not very far along. I think it is fun seeing everyone's progress and it helps all of us to learn. Congratulations on making some really great progress and your stitching is really beautiful!

I am following the SAL on Ruthy Rogers with great interest and have ordered my copy of the chart to add to my SL collection.

Congratulations Bob on your efforts, can't wait to read more posts from you.
