Soon 2 b a Mother in law.

Just found out my daughter is getting married and would love to do a autumn bridal/wedding sampler. I seen a beauty on here a while back but can't remember the title or the stitcher. Can someone post me some help or give suggestions for a beautiful chart possibly with autumn leaves? She is decorating with autumn leaves and foliage. Thanks in advance.

Cheryl, you could stitch "My Beloved" for your daughter, or "The Betrothal". The latter is over one thread but it isn't huge. It is in the 17th century section of the TSL website. Most of the samplers featuring couples are naked (as in Adam and Eve)...not appropriate. Mary Gail also features a fully clothed couple.

Cheryl, I'm wondering if you are thinking of the beautiful floral border of Jane Atkinson. You could always add your own design/verse to the center.

Cindy's suggestion is a good one. There are so many special borders amongst the SL samplers. You could then stitch a special poem/marriage vows and dedication in the centre.

I would be happy to chart the wording you choose.

How exciting. Jane Stott (http://scarlet-letter.com/samplers/stott.php) is autumnal, although "in a sad and solemn sound" may not be what you want for a wedding commemoration.
