Happy Holiday

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season. Thought I would share a clip I made of my Christmas tree.

I started playing around with flowers on the tree years ago and made it a tradition to add something new every year since. There have been a lot of alterations and the final result is what I call "Victorian Rose".

Among the decorations are snow dusted roses, babies breath, beads, fruits, hummingbirds, butterflies, etc. You could say I got carried away.

I don't get many visitors so no one ever sees it but me so I hope you all don't mind my sharing it with you.

Blessings to all,

Ruthy Rogers Finish

Good Morning!
I finished Ruthy yesterday and could not wait to get this picture posted! This will need to wait untill after the holidays to get to the framer, but till then i am still going to enjoy looking at this one. I will miss stitching on this, it was very relaxing and enjoyable.
I always have two projects going, right now it is A 18th Century Flower Garden charted for the Winterthur museum by he Examplarery. I will work on this for a day or two before starting the Manifesto. I always have atleast one Scarlet Letter piece in the works now it is time to get the Manifesto going. Stitching one this size is a large commitment but it will be well worth the time!
i am in hopes i can continue to stitch six to eight hours every day so i can make good progress on this project. I am also going to commit to posting updates here every two weeks....lets see how that goes, lol!
Happy Stitching!

Well, I am getting ready to start the "Tree of Life".  I can't wait to get into the area with Adam, Eve and the Indian looking "St. Michael".  This sampler is a fun sampler to work on.

And should keep me busy for a while.

Susey Oliver Completed

Susey Oliver

I really enjoyed stitching this sampler.  I started it in the early spring, put it down over the summer and finished it just this past week.  I am kind of sad to see this one end.  I just really enjoyed the process of stitching this sampler.  I will begin another Scarlet Letter sampler as soon as I finish painting and redecorating my daughter's bedroom.  She is turning 13 so out with the little girl style....sadly.

Theresa's Maria Theresa ....update from a humble novice ;-)
